Beckhamania

When David Beckham came to town to promote his new perfume and to play football against Sydney FC, it would be assumed that there will be mass hysteria... and there was.

I was lucky enough to attend the LA Galaxy vs Sydney FC game and the Sydney Olympic Stadium was packed. As a football game attender in Australia, Australia does not boast a very high game attendance, but with Beckham in town.... this was not a problem.

There were roughly 60000 people attending the match, just to see Beckham 'bend it'- and that he did. A beautiful free kick into the back of the net - no worries.
